MEET THE PASTOR

Pastor Davis

Pastor Una Murdella Davis was born in Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies. She attended primary, secondary and high school and gained “Teaching Grade”. In terms of employment, Pastor Una Davis gained a Diploma in Social Work and practiced as a front line Social Worker. She also subsequently achieved a certificate in Counselling in relation to marital issues. She migrated to England in September 1960 and joined in holy matrimony with Rudolph Wilbert Davis, the same year. The couple has eight grown up children, a number of grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pastor Una Davis surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus in 1963 and was powerfully filled with the Holy Spirit. Rudolph also gave his life to Jesus in 1985. Brother Ruddy, as he is affectionately known, is a great prayer warrior who spends hours in prayer and fasting seeking deliverance for the Church and his family.

Una Davis, as a licensed Evangelist, led Trowbridge Church for several years before being ordained as Pastor, at our National Convocation in July 1992.In order to enhance her knowledge, Pastor Una Davis undertook and gained a Certificate in Theology from Bibleway Biblical Training in co-operation with London College of Applied Science.

Pastor Davis has been blessed with a strong anointing on her life, and is an eloquent speaker. Throughout this organisation she has held various positions, inclusive of her current position as President of the National Elders Council, as well as preached in various churches - both in the UK, Florida and Jamaica.

In terms of her local community, Pastor Davis is well known, respected and has been invited regularly to speak and, to carry out various community functions.

Pastor Davis youngest daughter, Evangelist Dawn Beverley Lawrence, is the founder and Pastor of the “New Harvest Community Church”, which has a vibrant multicultural composition, based in Leicester (UK). Evangelist Dawn Lawrence has published her first book “Don’t Waste Your Pain” and, it is expected to be a best seller.

Pastor Davis’ son, Minister Greg Davis is the founder and Pastor of the “New Life Community Church” in Swindon, Wiltshire (UK).

Pastor Una Davis’s deep passion is to reach people of every denomination, culture, race and ethnicity with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to see the development of ministries in the Body of Christ.
